New Features Bring Extra Versatility and Efficiency to DV-Systems' MM150 Spraying

by Cauteruccio Antonella last modified 2008-10-28 14:09

The MM150 is an automated finishing solution for small shops or side projects. "When approached with new project proposals, smaller sized woodshops sometimes lacked the means of finishing thousands of feet and had to turn offers down. The MM150 is a first step for our customers to automate their finishing process" says Steve Williams, sales manager of DV-Systems, Charlotte, NC based manufacturer of profile finishing machinery. Three spray guns and a conveyor that runs up to 150 feet pet minute radically cut the time spent on finishing, thus opening up new business opportunities. Optimized gun angling and triggering in conjunction with overspray recuperation increase finishing efficiency to provide a quick return on investment.

Newly developed features add even more efficiency to the MM150. DV-Systems now offers a roll-on exhaust with fan and a spray gun enclosure, which allow for use of the MM150 without a spray booth. The system captures overspray for reusing or recycling, thereby increasing spray efficiency and lessening the environmental impact.

Additional accessories include a denibbing wheel and a wiping brush. Due to its modular design, the spraying machine can be retrofitted to grow along with woodshops. A fully equipped MM150 combines three finishing processes in one easy to use machine: denibbing, coating, and wiping.
